Stefan Ruppert is a Managing Partner of AVEGA S.à r.l., where he has been active since 2012 and has held a Managing Partner role since 2020. He brings a broad business background and more than 18 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on credit, securitisation and alternative investment structures.

Prior to joining AVEGA, Stefan worked at PwC in Luxembourg, where he was involved in audit engagements for UCITS and alternative investment funds. In this role, he gained extensive experience in the audit of complex fund structures, financial reporting processes and regulatory requirements, working closely with international audit teams and fund stakeholders.

Stefan is a Luxembourg‑qualified Chartered Accountant (member of the Ordre des Experts-Comptables). He combines strong technical accounting expertise with a deep understanding of real assets, private debt and financial markets.

Thomas Weber is a Managing Partner of AVEGA S.à r.l. and has been with the firm since 2011. He has served as Managing Partner since 2020 and has almost 20 years of experience in corporate services and alternative investments in Luxembourg, with a strong focus on private equity and infrastructure structures. 

His expertise covers the oversight of complex private equity and infrastructure platforms, including credit and private debt structures, financial markets exposure and institutional governance requirements. A particular emphasis lies on robust financial and control reporting, ensuring transparency, consistency and audit‑ready outputs for investors, boards and other stakeholders.

Thomas is actively involved in the development and use of technology‑driven solutions, including data‑supported and AI‑enabled approaches, to enhance the quality, efficiency and scalability of management information and control reports across alternative investment structures.

Prior to joining AVEGA, Thomas started his career at PwC Luxembourg, where he gained a solid foundation in audit and assurance for banks and alternative investment structures. This background continues to shape his structured, control‑oriented and risk‑aware approach

Thomas Probst is a Managing Partner of AVEGA S.à r.l., where he has been active since 2010 and has held a Managing Partner role since 2020. He has more than 15 years of experience in corporate services and alternative investments in Luxembourg, with a particular focus on private equity, infrastructure and real estate structures.

His expertise centres on the structuring and ongoing oversight of real private equity and infrastructure platforms, including transaction‑related and ongoing financing arrangements, transparent financial reporting and accounting including robust governance frameworks. Thomas works closely with investment and asset management teams to ensure that complex capital structures and asset‑level activities are consistently reflected in high‑quality reporting.

In addition, he plays a key role in security risk management, supporting the identification and mitigation of financial and operational risks. Prior to joining AVEGA, Thomas gained professional experience in manufacturing industry within financial reporting and controlling, adding a strong operational and business‑driven perspective to his work.

Oliver is a Partner at AVEGA Fund Services S.à r.l. (AFS) and serves as a Board Member, Conducting Officer and RC. Prior to joining AFS, he held the position of Associate Partner at KPMG Luxembourg.

Oliver holds the qualification of Réviseur d’Entreprises (Luxembourg), and Chartered Accountant (UK). He has extensive experience servicing a diverse portfolio of multinational clients within the Alternative Investment sector, bringing over 17 years of specialized expertise to the firm.

Frederik serves as a Partner at AVEGA Fund Services S.à r.l., where he is a Board Member and Conducting Officer based in Luxembourg. He is responsible for driving operational effectiveness across AFS’s fund administration activities – designing robust processes, strengthening controls, and embedding a KPI-led continuous improvement culture. Frederik also sponsors technical solutions, aligning platform strategy, workflow automation, and data architecture to enhance scalability, transparency, and client reporting. He keeps client quality at the heart of his work, making sure services are consistent, governance is strong, and relationships are managed proactively to deliver dependable results for alternative investment fund clients.

Prior to joining AFS, Frederik held various roles within fund administrators of alternative funds, building a deep understanding of operating models and regulatory expectations while leading teams through transformation and growth. He integrates people, process, and technology to achieve measurable results and sustain quality at scale.

He is a national tax adviser with over 20 years of professional experience in Luxembourg. Within AVEGA Tax, he focuses on tax compliance services across all tax types in Luxembourg and is recognized for his strong technical expertise and hands-on approach in managing complex compliance matters.
Prior to joining AVEGA, Tobias began his career in Luxembourg in 2004 with leading international professional services firms. He has extensive experience in corporate and international taxation, cross-border tax planning, and reorganizations, advising multinationals, investment funds, and private equity firms, and has been involved in major international tax planning projects for Private Equity and Real Estate funds as well as European, US, and Asian multinational groups.

David is a Tax Partner at AVEGA Tax Advisors S.à r.l. since joining the firm in 2024. He is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in international and domestic tax matters, advising multinational groups, private equity investors, and family offices on EU regulations, as well as international and Luxembourg taxation. At AVEGA Tax, David provides tax compliance services to corporations and funds across their entire lifecycle, from incorporation to liquidation, ensuring timely filings and high-quality deliverables. He also serves as the firm’s lead expert on Pillar 2 compliance. Prior to joining AVEGA, David worked at Big 4 firms, where he led major cross-border tax projects and gained extensive experience in managing complex, multi-jurisdictional tax issues, guiding organizations through complexity with a focus on practical and efficient tax solutions.

Carine is a Partner at AVEGA Tax Advisors S.à r.l., where she leads the VAT Compliance department. She is a VAT specialist with extensive experience in helping businesses manage their Value Added Tax obligations, ensuring accurate reporting, timely filings, and compliance with local regulations. Carine is recognized for her focus on high-quality deliverables and clear communication, which she considers essential to the success of every project.
