Senior Accountant – Real Estate (m/f/d)

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Managing the daily accounting operations of our Luxembourgish companies
  • Independent preparation of annual accounts according to LUXGAAP or IFRS
  • Preparing consolidated annual accounts according to LUXGAAP or IFRS
  • Preparing required financial statements on a regular basis
  • Supervising and coaching of junior accountants
  • Preparing and participating in client/board and shareholders‘ meetings
  • Liaising closely with tax specialists, audit firms, lawyers and asset managers

 

Your Profile:

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting & Finance or Economics or similar qualification
  • You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the fields of accounting, domiciliation or audit
  • You have a strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards
  • You are proficient preparing consolidated accounts
  • You have the ability to provide efficient, timely and courteous service to clients
  • You have excellent skills in Excel
  • You are fluent in English; good knowledge of German and French will be considered an asset

  • Being the first point of contact for clients to deal with accounting and reporting matters for a client portfolio
  • Independent preparation of annual accounts according to LUXGAAP or IFRS
  • Assisting in preparation of consolidated annual accounts according to LUXGAAP or IFRS
  • Providing assistance in preparing and participating in client/board and shareholders‘ meetings

Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Independent management of your own portfolio of Soparfis (especially in the areas of private equity, credit and real estate)
  • Corporate housekeeping (preparation and holding of board and shareholders´ meetings including preparation of minutes and other legal documents)
  • Follow-up on client requests and taking part in client meetings or conference calls
  • Ongoing legal support to the Soparfis
  • Liaising with notaries and international law firms
  • Staying informed about legal and regulatory developments in Luxembourg
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects (e.g. transfer pricing, DAC 6)

 

Your Profile:

  • University degree in Law
  • At least 3 – 5 years of working experience as a Legal Counsel/Advisor, ideally in a Luxembourg law firm or a Luxembourg Fiduciaire / Trust Company
  • Good knowledge of (Luxembourg) corporate law
  • High degree of diligence and accuracy, organizational aptitude and respect of confidentiality
  • Analytical and conceptual intellectual power, flexibility and strong communication skills
  • Capacity and affinity to work in an international, multicultural and teamwork-orientated environment
  • Fluency in English and a good command of German; additional French knowledge will be considered an asset

Legal Assistant (m/f/d)

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of registers and other corporate documents
  • Organization and preparation of board, shareholders´ and other meetings
  • Filings with the Register of Commerce and Companies
  • Filing and administration of legal documents
  • Liaising with notaries and international law firms
  • Working closely with the legal counsels and accountants on different clients
  • Being part of ad hoc projects from time to time

 

Your Profile:

  • At least 2 years of working experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar position
  • High degree of diligence and accuracy, organizational aptitude and respect of confidentiality
  • Capacity and affinity to work in an international, multicultural and teamwork-orientated environment
  • Fluency in English and good command of German; additional French knowledge will be considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Compliance Officer (m/f/d)

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Performing the due diligence on new clients, requesting the KYC information, documentation, review and verification of received documentation and making an analytical risk assessment for new clients
  • Responsible for opening of bank accounts for newly incorporated companies
  • Periodically evaluate existing clients according to established policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with relevant internal and external parties to obtain KYC documents
  • Knowledge of FATCA/CRS KYC client identification obligations
  • Maintain continuous contact with customer in order to keep customer file updated
  • Responsible for a good understanding of AML regulations, policies and procedures
  • Understand the link between KYC and Account Reporting requirements and processes for FATCA and CRS

 

Your Profile:

  • Academic background in Economics, Law, Business administration or in any relevant field
  • Proven experience (4-5 years) in a similiar function in Luxembourg
  • Good understanding of AML (monitoring and screening) and CTF framework
  • Strong client and service orientation
  • Curiosity and desire for new challenges
  • English fluently, good skills in German
